Facts and figures regarding Barcelona, who play at Arsenal in the first leg of their Champions League last-16 match on Wednesday:



* The Spanish champions and 2009 Champions League winners have been on spectacular form since securing qualification for the last 16.



* Barcelona's record run of 16 successive La Liga victories ended on Saturday when they were held to a 1-1 draw at Sporting Gijon.

* Pep Guardiola's side have qualified for the final of the domestic King's Cup, where they will meet great rivals Real Madrid at Valencia's Mestalla stadium on April 20.



* They added one player during the January transfer window, buying Netherlands midfielder Ibrahim Afellay from PSV Eindhoven for 3 million euros ($4.1 million).



* They were also boosted last week by the news that Guardiola, who has won eight trophies in two-and-a-half years in charge, had extended his contract until the end of next season.
