
Facts and figures regarding FC Copenhagen, who meet Chelsea in the first leg of their Champions League round-of-16 match in Copenhagen on Tuesday:
* FC Copenhagen have not played a competitive fixture since Dec. 7, when they beat Panathinaikos 3-1 at home to claim a place in the last 16 of the Champions League.
* With the Danish Superligaen taking a winter break until the first week of March, FC Copenhagen have played six friendlies since the turn of the year, all against Nordic opposition. Their only loss came on penalties in the Copa del Sol against IFK Gothenburg of Sweden.
* Copenhagen are unbeaten in the Superligaen this season and lead by 19 points ahead of Odense, with bitter city rivals Brondby two points further back in third place.
* Winger/striker Jesper Gronkjaer spent four seasons at Chelsea, playing 88 games and scoring seven goals for the London side. His goal and assist on the final day of the 2002/03 season ensured that Chelsea finished in fourth place ahead of opponents Liverpool and snatched the final Champions League spot.
* Three of the club's four defeats this season have come away from home in the Champions League -- at Rosenborg (1st leg qualifier, 1-0), Barcelona (group match, 2-0) and Rubin Kazan (group match, 1-0). Their solitary loss at home was to AB Horsens in the Ekstrabladet Cup (4-2).
