French leaders Lille lost 1-0 at Montpellier on Sunday to throw the title race wide open as Stade Rennes and Paris St Germain took advantage with victories.
Lille's game on the south coast was meandering to a goalless draw with neither side fashioning a clear-cut chance, when Younes Belhanda struck a crisp low left-foot shot into the corner of the net on 84 minutes.
