Ticket prices at Euro 2012 will range from 30 euros to 600 euros (about 40.5 to 812 dollars), European football body UEFA said Tuesday.
UEFA said it together with co-hosts Poland and Ukraine agreed a policy aimed at offering affordable prices for all 31 matches for the tournament from June 8 to July 1, 2012.
"The purchasing power of local citizens has been taken into account when deciding on prices and the cheapest tickets will cost 50 per cent less than at UEFA Euro 2008 in Austria/Switzerland," a statement said.
It will be possible to buy a category 3 ticket for 50 euros for the final on July 1, although a top seat will cost 600 euros.
Tickets for group matches will start at 30 euros, rising to 120 euros. They range from 40 euros to 150 euros for a quarter-final match, and 45 euros to 270 euros for a semi-final.
Opening match tickets will cost between 45 euros and 250 euros.
Tickets for the general public will be sold only from March 1 to March 31 this year via UEFA's internet platform.
