
Ukraine beat Romania in a penalty shootout after a 2-2 draw to book their place against Sweden in the final of a four-nation friendly international tournament on Tuesday.
The Euro 2012 co-hosts will meet Sweden on Wednesday after the Scandinavians defeated hosts Cyprus 2-0 in an earlier game.
Ukraine took a 2-0 lead through Yaroslav Rakitskiy and Artem Milevskiy but Dan Alexa struck twice before halftime for Romania.
Ukraine substitute goalkeeper Oleksandr Shovkovskiy was brought on in the last minute of normal time and he saved twice in the penalty shootout which Ukraine won 4-2.
Sweden dominated against Cyprus and coasted to victory thanks to a header from Tobias Hysen and a good finish on the stroke of halftime from Marcus Berg after some neat approach play.
