Chelsea romped to a 4-0 win on Monday night at Bolton Wanderers to boost their outside hopes of winning the English Premier League title.
Goals from Didier Drogba, Florent Malouda, Nicolas Anelka and Ramires gave the visitors a convincing victory, lifting them to within seven points of leaders Manchester United.
Chelsea remain in fourth place but are now just four points behind Manchester City in third, with a game in hand.
Drogba set the tone for the evening with a thunderous strike from all of 30 yards after just 11 minutes, and Malouda doubled the lead four minutes before the break, firing in a simple goal after his initial shot had been blocked by Gary Cahill.
When Anelka made it 3-0 just 11 minutes into the second half, the match was as good as over, but Ramires completed the rout 16 minutes from time with his first goal in English football.
